Bin the back street blockers

As all drivers will know you can't park a vehicle in the back street because this causes an unnecessary obstruction of a highway. There are a number of a reasons for this, primarily emergency access however, it also causes an obstruction to Pendle Council who struggle to collect waste and cleanse your back streets.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 17th September, police along with the council will be running operation ‘Bin the back street blockers’ which entails a through walk through of problem areas. To avoid a fine of £30 or the seizure of your vehicle please consider this your advance warning.
